In addition, Professor Gao Xiangwen, as a key researcher, has established in-depth cooperation with CATL, a world-leading lithium battery R&D and manufacturing enterprise. The college is adjacent to CATL and has established a battery technology research institute, which can provide team members with good development opportunities and communication platforms, helping them conduct research in the intersection of academia and industry, and creating favorable conditions for the application and transformation of basic research results. The PuYuan Future Technology College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of the first 12 future technology colleges announced by the Ministry of Education and is currently the only future technology college in Shanghai. It aims to build an international high-level teaching team with significant influence, establish several international frontier cross-disciplinary research and teaching platforms, and cultivate international, compound, and innovative leading talents in line with the development of the times and the future needs of the country.
